Criminal background checks today are becoming a real necessity before hiring anyone. With workplace violence, substance abuse, drug trafficking and internal theft on the rise in the work place, employers are taking a large risk when they do not verify the background of a potential employee. All Criminal background searches conducted are Canada wide and are completed through authorized Police Services. A criminal background search will reveal any record for Federal criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted.
To be completed in addition to a Criminal Background Search, if the applicant is applying for a position with a person or organization responsible for the well-being of one or more children or vulnerable persons, if the position is one of authority or trust or one where limited supervision exists, relative to those vulnerable individuals and the applicant wishes to consent to a search being made in criminal convictions records to determine if the applicant has been convicted of a sexual offence listed in the schedule to the Criminal Records Act and has been pardoned.
CREDIT HISTORY Credit reports are an important tool for verifying the reliability, dependability and integrity of an applicant applying for fiduciary or cash handling responsibilities, access to expensive equipment, people's property, or otherwise placed in a position of financial trust. It contains a summary of an applicant's credit history including the number of trade accounts, ratings of trade accounts, bankruptcies, court judgments or liens, and any collections and bad debt information. It is also an important tool for verifying your applicant’s address history and the authenticity of a social insurance number.

DRIVER’S ABSTRACT Three (3) year snapshot. Contains driver identification, license status information, including a list of Highway Traffic Act and Criminal Code convictions within the previous three years, the conviction dates and any points accumulated.
CVOR DRIVER’S ABSTRACT Five (5) year snapshot of an Ontario issued driver's license, containing information while operating heavy commercial vehicles, contains driver's license number, name, class, condition, expiry and medical due dates, status, a description of each accident, conviction and inspection, plus microfilm reference numbers.
